Mr. Binder’s experience in dealing with a vast majority of personal injury cases and criminal matters is extensive, as he and his team at The Killian Law Group have overseen thousands of cases in his career. Further, Mr. Binder and his team at the Killian Law Group have recouped tens of millions of dollars for his clients in settlements over the years. Many of the larger settlements included representing individuals with traumatic brain injuries, serious spinal cord injury, and life altering trauma that require aggressive and detail-oriented representation against insurance companies or major hospitals. Mr. Binder has been a recipient for the prominent award of 10 Best Attorneys in Maryland in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 as published by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys. Further, Mr. Binder has been the recipient of the prominent Super Lawyers Rising Stars award which goes to the top 2.5% of the attorneys in Maryland in 2019, 2020 and for 2021. Lastly and most recent, Attorney Binder was awarded the very selective award for America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators award as well, which only goes to those who have successfully litigated a case that is potentially worth more than $2,000,000.

Mr. Binder graduated from The University of Baltimore School of Law, where he received a Juris Doctor (J.D) of the law. While attending the university, Mr. Binder served on the board of the Student Bar Association (SBA). Mr. Binder further served as a member of the Black Law Students Association, and is an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ).  Prior to attending law school, he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Finance, from York College of Pennsylvania, where Mr. Binder was a member of Student Senate in the Budget and Finance department for the college. Additionally, he is a member of the Baltimore City Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association (ABA).

In addition to these academic and personal achievements, Mr. Binder is a two-time college wrestling All-American Athlete, and a Maryland high school state wrestling champion. Mr. Binder is fluent in Russian as well, and was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, a former Soviet Republic.

In his free time, Mr. Binder helps under-privileged individuals on a pro bono basis to expunge prior criminal records to help address social and systematic issues present in our society.

Mr. Binder is also heavily involved as a wrestling coach for the non-profit “Champions That Wrestle” where he helps mentor and train young people in wrestling, improving their self-worth, and pursuing personal growth to prepare them for life.
