Dean G. Fleyzor

Senior Attorney

Mr. Fleyzor focuses on complex civil litigation and criminal defense in his role as Senior Attorney at The Killian Law Group. Prior to joining The Killian Law Group, Mr. Fleyzor worked as a civil defense attorney for a non-profit organization for several years where he gained invaluable experience personally assisting and advising thousands of Baltimore City and Prince George’s County residents. Mr. Fleyzor attended hundreds of court hearings where he defended individuals who faced lawsuits involving breach of contract, debt collection, and landlord/tenant issues. Mr. Fleyzor was later promoted to a supervisory position where he managed a team consisting of staff attorneys, volunteer attorneys, and legal support staff while leading a pilot program that assisted and represented Baltimore City renters with eviction, rent escrow, breach of lease, and other landlord/tenant issues.

Mr. Fleyzor graduated from University of Baltimore School of Law. After receiving his Juris Doctor, Mr. Fleyzor completed a judicial clerkship for the Lead Criminal Judge in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, where he assisted with daily, high-volume criminal dockets, as well as complex civil matters. While attending law school, Mr. Fleyzor sat second chair in a jury trial during his Rule 16 (now Rule 19) clerkship with the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office. Additionally, Mr. Fleyzor completed an internship with a solo practitioner based in Baltimore County, a judicial internship in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, and a clerkship with the Office of the Public Defender’s Collateral Review Unit (now Post-Conviction Defenders Division).

Mr. Fleyzor received a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. While in high school, Mr. Fleyzor achieved the rank of Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America and ranked nationally as a Lincoln-Douglas debate competitor.
